The result of all these efforts is a unctuous dessert wine, lemon-gold in colour with a lovely viscosity when swirled in the glass. The nose is intensely Riesling in character; alive with the flavours of oranges, tangelos and apricots; whilst the palate has Botrytised derived aromas of manuka honey. Silky smooth and sweet yet still beautifully balanced by its high natural acidity, the wine makes appealing drinking now and will also cellar well. Now an aged classic!
