~WINEMAKING~
The grapes for this wine were picked from our two-acre Chardonnay block, with 50% fermented in French oak & 50% in stainless steel. The result is a fresh and fruit driven wine, having hints of citrus and stone fruit with a mineral edge.
~THE WINE STYLE~
Inspired by the casual dining in the cafés of Europe, enjoying the plate of the day whilst sipping wine from a tumbler, occasionally topping up from the carafe. Although the wine itself was worthy of a wine glass, the informal approach to serving it suggested the wine was a natural and essential part of the meal. Bottled early to capture its freshness, this wine is made for drinking early and sharing with friends.
