Bodegas Capità Vidal was created by Captain Enrique Vidal in 1985. A Navy Officer with significant experience as a solo sailor, after two trips around the world, he decided to pursue his greatest dream. Along with his wife, Tati Fuchs, they founded the winery, Capità Vidal.

Together they built a family-based winery producing small quantities of still and sparkling wines (Cavas).
