Winemaker – Thomas White

The Curator Wine Co was established in 2012 and is located on the western side of Barossa Valley, in the sub-region of Marananga. Winemaker and proprietor Thomas White is passionate about curating individual wines from each of the eight unique estate blocks to show the differences in soil profiles, rootstock, and vine age.  The goal is to make wines reflecting their site through minimal handling and intervention.

Although passionate about Marananga and his estate, Thomas also believes in profiling the greater Barossa, sourcing small parcels of grapes from selected older vineyards in Vine Vale, Greenock, Hallet Valley, Stone Well and Gomersal.

Curator Wine Co wines are hand-harvested, wild fermented, and basket pressed into French oak from selected Cooperages.  Applying traditional winemaking techniques, these wines are made in a minimalistic style without fining or filtration, creating dark, flavoursome and juicy wines with a smooth, balanced finish.
