Named for the grandmother of the winery's current owner, Francisca (Paca) was a strong and capable woman who played an essential part in the winery's history. 
Cherry red colour. The nose is clean and expressive, with aromas of red fruits. The palate is fleshy and fresh with fruity expressions from the barrel-aging process. 
A selection of different grape varieties was used for this wine: 40-year-old Monastrell (also known as Mataro or Mourvedre) bush vines (these lay low to the ground and, with age, branch out and resemble small trees), trellised Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, all of which were harvested by hand. Fermentation took place for 20 days at around 25°C. Following this, the wine was transferred and aged for 3threemonths in French
and American oak.
