Pindarie Black Hinge Reserve Shiraz

Entirely produced from vines grown at Pindarie. The Black Hinge Shiraz for the 2018 vintage was selected from the top of "Tony's Block Shiraz ”, grown on our famous Terra rossa soils. Vintage 2018 was excellent! Early ripening, great weather, small berries, and exceptional colour… which made the wine making process relatively easy. 

The final wine has terrific tight structure (underpinned by tannin and acid) and a 16-month long sleep in high quality French Oak. It is concentrated, dense and brooding, rich in spices and berry fruits leaving you with a generous, opulent mouth feel from fruit and oak. It will reward the consumer with drinking pleasure for at least a decade. 

Food Pairing: Ideal with dishes rich in beef, especially Wagyu
